White Willow Bark is a source of salicin and salicyl glycosides. It is specific for sores of the mucosa, such as ulcers, fever with intermittent chills, rheumatism, menstrual irritation and tiredness. Other uses include headache, pain, general inflammation. People mistakenly believe Willow is the original source of aspirin, but that title actually belongs to Meadowsweet. Take 30 drops in water or juice, 1 3 times daily, or as needed.
